Just curious, but since you redid the courses, did you notice any major changes in the courses between 2018 and 2019?
Also, did the 2019 courses replace your 2018 courses on the ACE transcript as well?

I didn't notice any content changes. In fact, I specifically remembered some of the individual slides. However, a few of the courses had major changes in formatting. One of them almost felt like a video game -- you choose your space craft or robot and learn a topic and answer questions to complete the mission. Correct answers would explode enemy ships or dangerous asteroids.
When I added the individual courses to ACE, they did not replace the old courses. They show up along with my old cybersecurity courses on my ACE transcript

So you listed that you took 7 courses, but only showed how 6 came in - and it doesn't really show what came in as what. I can figure out a few, but not the rest. Can anyone help me with the rest?
TEEX-0277 Cyber Law & White Collar Crime (AWR168) comes in as 2cr in CYB-210
TEEX-0278 Cyber Ethics (AWR174) comes in as 2cr ETH-230 and will work for the Ethics requirement
TEEX-0279 Information Security for Everyone (AWR175)
TEEX-0280 Network Assurance (AWR138)
TEEX-0281 Digital Forensics Basics (AWR139)
TEEX-0282 Information Security Basics (AWR173)
TEEX-0283 Secure Software and Network Assurance (AWR-178)
TEEX-0284 Cyber Incident Analysis & Response (AWR169)
TEEX-0285 Disaster Recovery for Information Systems (AWR-176)
TEEX-0286 Information Risk Management comes in as 1cr UL CYB-421
Also, it looks like it's more beneficial to take each course separately and put them on your ACE transcript that way.
1) With Cybersecurity 101, it's 4cr, but if you take the courses separately, you get 5cr(?) and 2cr of that will be ethics; if you take them as a whole, it comes in as CAP-295 and no ethics (works if you don't need ethics I guess)
2) With Cybersecurity 201, no difference
3) With Cybersecurity 301, they're both 3cr total, but if you do it separately, 1cr comes in as UL which might be helpful for someone.
Let me know if I did this correctly. It's different from the 1st post on this thread, which shows Cyb101 as 3cr and Cyb201 as 4cr, which I don't think is correct.

I filled in all that I have transferred in. I don't believe the vocational credit for Information Security for Everyone (TEEX-0279) comes in for a bachelors degree. It didn't for me. So, it seems you only get 4cr with Cyber101 either way, but if you did it separately then you could skip Information Security for Everyone (TEEX-0279) and still get 4 cr.

TEEX-0278 Cyber Ethics (AWR174) comes in as 2cr ETH-230 and will work for the Ethics requirement
TEEX-0279 Information Security for Everyone (AWR175) didn't come in - vocational credit

TEEX-0281 Digital Forensics Basics (AWR139)
TEEX-0282 Information Security Basics (AWR173) comes in as 1cr CYB-120

TEEX-0285 Disaster Recovery for Information Systems (AWR-176) comes in as 1cr CYB-220
TEEX-0286 Information Risk Management comes in as 1cr UL CYB-421
Hope this clarifies it.

Thank you, that helps. So if I have this correct, you should do the following for maximum effect/minimum effort:
1) With Cybersecurity 101, you should only take 0277 & 0278 and transfer them in separately to get the Ethics requirement done; you should take the 101 series if you want 4cr as a CAP course.
2) With Cybersecurity 201, no difference
3) With Cybersecurity 301, if you do them all separately, 1cr comes in as UL which might be helpful for someone needing that 1 extra credit of UL; if you do them as a whole, they come in as CIS-244, which would be helpful if you needed a science course.
Hopefully that clarifies it for someone who is trying to figure out the different combos and how they can work best for your own situation.
I'm just glad there's another free ethics course out there since the other one went away.

Quick question for clarification:
Just ignore the bullet point that indicates "2.00 hours - ACE" on this one course, correct? According to our list within this thread, this course actually transfers in as 1cr CYB-120.
Information Security Basics - AWR173

Thanks!

If you look it up on ACE, it's only worth 1cr.

Ok, I read through all the posts as I need 2 credits for my Electives.
Am I correct for the following?
Can take courses individually, however, TEEX (AWR175) Information Security for Everyone will not transfer as 1 credit if taken by itself as it comes in as vocational credit?
These both would transfer in as 1 credit each and do not need to combine:
TEEX (AWR173) Information Security Basics
TEEX (AWR139) Digital Forensics Basics
Thanks for the clarification!

I’ve already taken all of the TEEX courses and had added them as cyber 101, cyber 201, and cyber 301. I took them after the change in credit value so I don’t need to retake them but should I add each course individually to my ACE transcript?
I can’t tell from the comments if that’s what is being suggested or not. I know it won’t remove the old cyber 101 courses etc. just not sure what to do.
