I used to think you must pass the tecep to get enrolment status, am I wrong?
Being 3 courses away from the BACS I would like to lock that in.
1. Can I do a tecep for a course I already transferred from SL?
2. Can I withdraw and stay enrolled?
3 can I fail and still be enrolled?
Thanks!

As far as I am aware you can register for any TECEP but you should talk to your advisor.
You can fail a TECEP and be enrolled.

Well you can do the Network Technology TECEP or the Capstone. I did the capstone already. I'm hoping data structures gets approve from SDC.

Yeah, thing is I don’t have time right now, so I’m looking at how I can lock this in. Withdrawing and then completing an easy tecep at a later date would be my first choice

I'm told Liberal Arts Math is an extremely easy TECEP, and since you're doing CompSci you must have a pretty solid math understanding so probably wouldn't need to study.
Completed:
BA History & Psychology, Thomas Edison State University, March 2020
ASNSM Mathematics, Thomas Edison State University, March 2020
Up Next:
JD, Cornell Law School, Class of 2024

If you are a CS major and work in IT, there are quite a number of no study TECEPS like computer concepts, networking, and lib arts math. I agree lib arts math would be extremely easy. Like you said, I believe you can fail them but you really wouldn't save time failing them vs passing them with a 70. I know you can take a TECEP that will push off your older credit. Networking would look good on your transcript if you pass even though it doesn't count in the AOS.

Taking a TECEP is what keeps you enrolled and active with TESU. It doesn't matter if you pass or fail it, it is taking it that matters. Also a fail doesn't count against you - you just don't get credit for it. Of course even if you don't need the credit I recommend taking one that you think you have a chance of passing.
