I don't know what to write about either. I'm thinking something about technology, if the subject is allowed.

To know whether a subject is a good candidate, start trying to write research questions. You need one big question that the whole paper will be trying to answer and 3-5 subquestions that can be directly researched to help you answer it. I had three ideas, and thought I wanted to do one on brain to machine interfaces, but found that framing the questions was difficult. That led me to do my paper on how designers could minimize distraction from in car infotainment systems where I had no problem coming up with a full raft of questions. Don't get too hung up on minutia, as there will be opportunity to revise.

This is tough, been racking my brain for a while on a potential topic.
Maybe something war or criminal justice related? I don't know...

I am set to take my capstone in January 2019, but I have to take some classes to maintain my GI Bill at a local community college. I will be taking chem I with lab, microeconomics, and quality control. I'm hoping these classes won't affect my ability to complete the capstone. Judging by the ratemyprofessor, I'm thinking microeconomics and quality control will be easy classes and chem I will just take a slight bit of effort.
I would agree with your assessment. Quick question, do you know if you have the option of doing a short session for any of those (I'm thinking microeconomics or quality control). That's one way to free up some time at the end of the semester and allow more time for writing. You'd start all 4 at the same time, but in a short session, one ends sooner, thus you'd finish with only 3 on your plate. (my sons do this almost every semester- they take 12 credits but it's always split so they are doing 3 classes at a time instead of 4)

I’m doing this exact same thing as we speak. I registered for the November BSBA Capstone, with the goal of graduating in March.
Prior to starting the course I had 4 courses remaining.
Digital Marketing and Advertising
Global Marketing
Principles of Selling
English 102
I knocked out Digital Marketing and Global Marketing, and Im almost complete with Principles of Selling. Leaving me with just English, which I will finish in the next week.
I received an email from TESU saying to apply for Graduation before Jan 1st and have all courses postmarked no later than Jan 15th, which will be no problem.
As long as you’re a decent writer (the capstone has a lot of writing) it’s no problem at all.

To graduate in June it was my understanding that I had to do the capstone in January. Wouldn’t February be too late to qualify for a June graduation? My residency waiver expires in June

I completed my Capstone at TESU while also taking a 300 level class from there and doing a few Study.com classes on the side, while working full time.
It's definitely doable but the Capstone is alot of writing, and depending on your topic it can be alot of reading as well. I will go ahead and tell you that you are likely to write far more than 25 pages. I think my paper ended up being 95 pages, because I didn't feel I could cover everything I was trying to talk about in 25. Just the bibliography was probably 10 pages.
So I mean if your Capstone is going to be creative writing or something, sure, go for it. But if it's something more technical, just take a minute and think about how much work you're looking at, because it can get overwhelming if you aren't prepared for it.
