TEEX Courses at TESU
#21
I have

Cyber 301: Cyber Security for Business Professionals

In my ace account, and it transferred over as: CIS-244 Computer Security

And they refuse to let me use it as a general ed course....so I have 2 missing credits in my gen ed electives. Already tried multiple time to change that, no dice.

But yeah, 301 came in as 244.
We are all on the same side here, trying to better our lives....so let's get along and help each other out.

Learn a trade. Gain technical skills. Make money, then use this money to get a degree...if you have the desire.

That sucks. Seems like some people got it as an upper level now the rest of us won't. So annoying.

CYB-120 - Introduction to Cybersecurity  (Cyber Security for Business Professionals)

CIS-244 - Computer Security (Cyber Security for IT Professionals)

CAP-295 - Intro to Security Basics (Cyber Security for Everyone)

No duplicates, all credits from TEEX accepted.

Thanks for your information.
Just curiously, which program are you taking now?

And why different people have different credits for same TEEX courses?

TESU has the option of changing what they bring courses in whenever they want.  They were a certain thing for a long time, but have recently changed.  Luckily, when they change their minds, it's not usually retroactive - meaning that they wont' go back and change someone's eval once the course has come in.  So for anyone who brought it in a few months ago when they were different course numbers, TESU leaves those alone.

I'm in the Communications degree program right now. May change to the Liberal Studies program though, seems to fit the credits I already have better.

Awesome. I’m not a fan of liberal studying, and I’m also afraid I need to write too much articles for that program.
