This comes in as ENG-201, so not UL.
On Study.com it shows the transfer agreement of English 305: Advanced Technical Writing coming into TESU as ENG-306 : Intermediate Technical Writing (https://study.com/directory/school/Thoma...ransferTab) - Which also means it wouldn't be able to fulfill the Written Communication requirement, which is unfortunate - but good news that it is UL for English.
They must have changed it recently, it didn't used to come in that way. That's great that we have another UL English credit.

I'm not sure where these "tons of upper level options" are at Study.com. I'm not seeing many at all. If you look through their list of transfer courses, these are the only ones you'll find:
- History 308: Causes and Effects of the Vietnam War
HIS-351 : A History of Vietnam War
- History 306: The American Civil War Era
HIS-450 : The American Civil War Era
- English 305: Advanced Technical Writing
ENG-306 : Intermediate Technical Writing

That's because the list you're looking at doesn't have all of their courses, only what TESU evaluated a year or so ago. Study.com has 45 UL courses, 16 of which will fit into the BALS AOS, and another 10 which should come in as UL later on after a revamp (they are 300-level courses through study.com, but didn't get ACE-approved as UL, so they're probably working on that this very minute).

dfrecore - I don't suppose you've got a list of those courses, do you? I'd love to see what else is available! I need three more upper-level courses for my BALS & I'm hoping to complete them through Study.com. Thanks for the help!

I’m also interested in the 16 study.com classes that fit into the BALS. One of my daughters is considering that degree and I’m helping her plan it out.

I'm also working on a BALS from TESU. I have several DSST's on my plan right now, but I'm thinking about switching to some Study courses.
I'm still learning all this so take the following with a grain of salt, but from what I understand, the following would work for the BALS UL AOS -
History 306 - Civil War
History 308 - Vietnam
History 311 - Holocaust
English 305 - Ad. Technical Writing
Sociology 305 - Sociology of Work
Marketing 301, 302, 303, 306, and 308
Possibly also Hospitality 301 + 304 - I'm not sure what those are categorized as.
There's also History 307 (Civil Rights) and 309 (War + American Society) that are currently LL but should eventually be UL after more work is done on the courses. I'm not sure if there are any more out or coming out that will eventually work for the BALS. It sounds like there are but I've lost the thread they were mentioned on.
You can check on the NCCRS site or on your ACE account to see what level the classes are accredited for. Here's the NCCRS site - http://www.nationalccrs.org/organizations/studycom

Marketing and Hospitality courses won't come into the BALS, you can't use business courses there.
