How can they tell it is graduate credit, if, for example, the course number is CSCIE-50?
Havard University has colleges within their university. https://www.harvard.edu/
When you're at the homepage, you can see a tab called "Schools" which shows you that Harvard has many schools within the university. One school is their Continuing Education college (aka Harvard Extension which also houses their summer school classes) Courses for college credit are offered there. They are undergraduate and graduate level credit, summer school offers some specifically for high schoolers too- but that tab takes you to where most of us are talking about when we talk about taking classes at Harvard for college credit. You'd use those for a degree through Harvard or your own college. http://www.dce.harvard.edu/
yeah, but what he's asking is this about courses like this https://www.extension.harvard.edu/academ...ence/14290
Course Tuition
Noncredit: $2,700
Undergraduate credit: $2,700
Graduate credit: $2,700
Course Credit
4 credits
the price is the same whether its non-credit, undergrad credit or grad credit
he's asking if additional work is required for grad credit or is it the exact same course that you would do for undergrad credit
seems kind of weird that the exact same course could be undergrad or grad

I’m currently a student enrolled in the masters degree program at HES. I’ve only had one course so far where it was offered for both undergrad and graduate level credit. The graduate level students like myself had some additional work on both the assignments as well as the exams for that particular course. Otherwise the course was the same.

I've taken 4 courses at HES that were open to both graduate and undergraduate in the same class. The difference in every case was (a lot of) additional writing.
