Apparently 6 credits can be transferred into Patten's MBA. I'm sure that doesn't help most people, but I thought I would mention it anyway.
From another thread 
"There were multiple student reviews stating that there is no resemblance between the proctored final and the course chapters/material. Multiple students provided the same comments and that is almost impossible to pass the final. It has nothing to do with the course material except for a sentence here and there. There are other positive feedback of students that have passed but if this is true then is an issue."
"By the numbers, Patten is considerably less writing and, heavy on exams in comparison to WGU. What has made Patten tougher for some is their structure, their limitations for revisions on papers and resources for exams."

I didn't do the MBA but I started their BA in Psych and it was pretty horrible. The exams were so far off base from the learning material that it was a joke.

WGU's also have 3 fewer credits than Patten's so, a little less work, probably. 10 courses plus capstone course, so 11 courses.
Patten doesn't have a capstone course. 12 courses.
I guess I would rather attend WGU, but for me the cost difference goes the other way. WGU $3750, Patten about $2000. Patten is also quicker, but seems much more stressful. Not just because of the 4 months (vs. 6) but because of the exams being bad, some issues with teachers and papers, etc.

Patten has made some grading updates over the last year that aid in the ability to move through some of those adventurous exams.

This is pretty significant if the struggle is real with some of these exams and if one just does not work in your favor, it's nice to know that you are still moving towards a successful graduation.

Good to know, but I like getting good grades, and it would be probably be hard to get them at Patten. I'm ok with not all top grades, but I would be mad if I felt I deserved a A (or B), and if the reason I got a B (or C) was just the final exam being too different than the material (and I had the better grade on the project and exercises).
However, I'm still considering Patten.

Well, it's one in the same if you are deciding between WGU & Patten. The highest grade point you can get at WGU is a 3.0 no matter how great your exam scores are. Even with a negative hit from an exam, to graduate at Patten your need a 3.0 and that would put you right at the same grade point graduation level at WGU. Prior to the update, I thought Patten was a pretty tough gamble, even at the tuition price point but now I think it is definitely worth taking the chance for the right student.

WGU doesn't have grades. It's PASS/FAIL on your transcript. But they include a small blurb on your transcript that all passes are equivalent to at least a B/3.0. So no one knows if your pass was an A or a B, just that it was a pass with at least a B.

The program is built on a Pass/Fail structure and Pass= 3.0. Your transcripts only show Pass for the courses - there is no showing of an actual grade.
