Saylor Academy expanding their offerings

Except for business.

Is this position because there is a greater interest in other subjects or the position there are enough per your opinion in UL Business? I would have loved additional UL options while working on my BSBA and would have mostly pursued a second bachelor if Saylor would have provided those courses needed. Not having them, of course, saved me some time on a degree that would have just been cool to claim on the way out the door

My #1 pick would be psychology & maybe biology as a second. My daughters would be super happy with a secondary degree in Biology through online courses.

A few marketing and a few finance courses would be nice for BSBA folks.

Maybe even history other than the usual courses.

If you put it that way, then there aren't very many $25 options in anything. However, there are a lot of $100-300 options in many subjects, so it would be helpful if Saylor concentrated on courses that are hard to find for less than $300. We can't expect them to offer everything.

The response of, 'we don't need any more Saylor Business UL courses' does not fit a key focus of DegreeForum (course options & course savings) and there is nothing cute or aggressive about this position. Saylor courses are $25 dollars and them adding some UL business courses would be a significant value to a lot of people.

I also mentioned 4 others subjects to round out my position within this thread but perhaps I missed one subject that carries a greater value to you.

Your question asked me why I made that statement. You asked if my position was if I had greater interest in other subjects or if there were enough in UL business. My answer is, yes. There are enough credits in UL business, so Saylor does not need to create more. That's the reason why I made the statement "except for business." That is my answer; that is my reasoning. I don't care if the other options aren't $25. If you wouldn't have given a smart-mouthed response, you wouldn't have gotten an unkind one in return.

You not caring about the courses being $25 is a pretty big point of the conversation (impossible for you not to see the logic here) but I'm hesitant to say much more fearing your next response

All that matters is my answer to your question. You asked me a question, and I gave you an answer with my reasoning. You don't get to dictate why I came to MY opinion. Take my answer or leave it. If you didn't understand my answer, you could have responded in a more civil manner rather than implying that my answer was idiotic. If you wanted to know why I would not want more $25 business courses (which wasn't even the reason why I made that statement), then you should have asked that.

In case you missed it, a few others have mentioned not wanting Saylor to create courses that are available elsewhere, and they would like for Saylor to create courses that are hard to find elsewhere. I don't see how you can miss that logic. Why would you ask me if there were enough $25 courses in business if you already knew that there aren't?  That's a stupid question. You don't think I've looked at their offerings? Use common sense. I was obviously talking about overall options. 

Icampy's post right after mine shows an understanding that I was talking about all options. Dfrecore didn't even have to ask why I said business. I may not be right 100% of the time, but I think it would be safe for anyone to assume the I at least know whether or not you can complete a business major with only Saylor courses. I do have a business degree and have created plans for others.
