CLEP to ACE?

Is there a way to transfer the CLEP exam info from College Board over to ACE?  It would be nice to only have to send one transcript instead of 2.

Agree...Actually, forget about the CLEP/DSST credits (9) I have because every other credit earned (undergraduate) are recorded in ACE.

CLEP is ACE-approved, so I think you can get the exams that you pass over there.

Unfortunately though, a lot of schools who will accept CLEP want the scores directly from CLEP.

I mentioned this to my WGU adviser, and they didn't seem to care. For giggles I pointed my next CLEP at the recommended ACE address. I'll keep everyone posted with the results.

of course you can send your CLEP scores to ACE. The reason CLEP is (was initially) accepted is that they are ACE evaluated for college credit.
That said, you can search back through our archives, one of our members here did it and it took forever- as in months- so it's a toss up between saving $40 or waiting months. But, yes, you can do it.

Thanks for clarity. It actually sparked my memory in why I didn't request my CLEP/DSST credits to ACE. There was some fear they would not make it in time for my TESU graduation deadline. My last course was the DSST Introduction to Computing and it was within the last month for TESU. I even ended up paying a fee to have them expedited to be safe.

Real question is, now that I know this information, does it change the home of my orphan credits?

I think TESU is one of the schools that requires the scores directly from CLEP/DSST, so it wouldn't have worked anyway.

But it certainly can't hurt to pull all of your CLEP and DSST's to ACE.  It's free (I think).  If it cost anything though, I wouldn't waste the money.

This conects the dots even more to why my CLEP/DSST credits never made their way over to ACE. The last 3 credits for my BSBA come in the final month to hit the deadline. It was the DSST Introduction from Computing and to cover my bases, I even had the credits expedited (fee) directly into TESU.
