I've never taken a Study.com course. I think I am confusing them with Davar. Sorry for the confusion!

Would business courses from Study.com count? They have quite a few that come in as 300 or 400 courses.

Most MAN courses do not come into the BALS AOS - they count as Free Electives if you're not a business major. The exceptions might be things like Managerial Comm (which will come in as a COMM course) or Digital Marketing (which MAY come in as a CIS course). I would get them pre-approved before taking them thought.

It looks to me like there are a few options...

http://www.tesu.edu/heavin/ba/Human-Reso...gement.cfm

If they count for option "B" I have a hard time believing they wouldn't count for option "A" http://www.tesu.edu/heavin/ba/Liberal-Studies.cfm

My wife is in this program and she's considering MAN-301 and MAN-311 equivalents from Study.com to fulfill two of the upper level spots; once she hears back on them I'll report back.

This is a new degree path (the concentration in HR or General Management especially), and so I guess it will depend on what TESU decides.  Previously (and even now in Gen Ed's), no business-related course counts as a Social Science or Humanity, which is what all BALS degrees previously were.

Now that you can have these concentrations, it's unclear what they will accept in the AOS electives area.  If you do a HR concentration, can you then have ANY business-related courses put in the AOS?  If you DON'T do a MAN/HR concentration, what's up then?

Please let us know what TESU says about this to your wife, it would be nice to have some clarity here.

I did ask an advisor after those liberal studies concentrations were first introduced. I was told that the business courses can only go in the AOS for Option B business concentrations, not in the regular liberal studies program.
TESU BA June 2018.
Various business certificates still to do.

That makes sense.

Did you also happen to ask whether the 18cr concentration was specific to those courses, or if anything could be substituted?  Some of those courses are hard to find, and don't reflect what a Management or HR degree requires, so it's strange to me that they chose those specific courses.
