Random Credit Question about Core/AoS Credits
#1
Hello All,

I just realized that I need more then the normal 120 to complete out this degree plan. The reason for this is because I will still need more courses in Gen Education even though I have an additional 3 credits in my core and AoS. I will display what I mean below

Intellectual and Practical Skills (15)
Got All 15/15 Here

Civic and Global Learning (9)
I am MINUS 1 here because of free Ethics Course

Knowledge of Human Cultures (9)
Got All 9/9 Here

Understanding the Physical and Natural World (4-7)
Got 6/6 Here

Mathematics (3)
I actually have 4 credits here which counters my missing credit from ethics

General Education Electives (17-20) - Leaves Needing 18 to complete the 60/60
I currently have 12 So I need 2 3 credit classes. I have 1 planned and need another. However see below

Professional Business Requirements (36)
If I passed Strategic Management then I have 38/36 here because my CC courses for Financial/Managerial were 4 Credits each.

Accounting (18)
After Federal Income Tax TECEP I will then have 19/18 here

Electives (6)
6/6 Here

I am ASSUMING 100% that there is no way those extra three credits in the Buisness and AoS will complete out the general education but I wanted to double check. As I rechecked my eval and I cant do the TEEX course because I actually need 3 credits and not 2 because it still has a spot to do cornerstone 1 credit course.

If I am correct I need an easy and preferably cheap 3 credit course. If I am wrong how do I go about having TESU make me see it in my evaluation?

No, unfortunately business courses cannot be used in GE. You could take TECEP Liberal Arts Math for 3 cr. It's basically the same info you are reviewing for CLEP College Math and does not overlap.

I was actually planning on using that TECEP in my plan but when I realized I needed 6 credits I figure the CLEP would be 6 credits, a bit harder but overall cheaper. I still have the option to just go take this CLEP in Mass on the 12th but that requires me to take off some work, a decent amount of driving so the costs start adding up. Right now its $70 for a Study.com course but I need to get it in by the 22nd (easily doable). I am already doing History of the Vietnam War and will need 3 more credits. I may just spend the money on a SL course for the speed and ease of completing a course.

Since they just changed the course number for this, maybe you would want to take the other Vietnam War course as well? There would probably be a great deal of overlap, making it very quick to complete the 2nd course? Just a thought.
