I'm asking because I am horribly afraid of the "A history of the soviet union" DSST. Is their an alternative way to earn upper level credits that UMUC will accept outside of DSSTs and in house classes? I'm trying to graduate spring 2018 and I'm 45 credits short as is.
24 are coming from mandatory classes for my degree that I want to take in house.
27 are coming DSSTs
> 1 A History of the Vietnam War (Already taken)
> 2 Business Ethics and Society
> 3 Fundamentals of Cybersecurity (need to retake)
> 4 History of the Soviet Union (Already Taken)
> 5 Introduction to Law Enforcement
> 6 Money and Banking
> 7 Principles of Finance
> 8 Substance Abuse
> 9 The Civil War and Reconstruction (need to retake)
I only need to pass 6 more of these and one science (I'm going to retake biology I missed it by one point) to be on track to graduate in spring 2018.
If you could suggest other ways to get upper level credits that I could do while taking classes at UMUC. I don't want to take more than 2 classes per session at UMUC. I have no problem with studying for DSSTs or the like while taking classes as I have done it before and didn't find it too difficult.
