Desktop died, not sure what to do about computer

I have a 2016 Macbook Pro and a 2013 Macbook Air. The 2013 Macbook Air still runs just as well today as it did 4 years ago. I do recommend getting Applecare for the Macbook if it is going to be leaving the house frequently. I know Macbooks are pricey, but they last a long time. Use the student version of the Apple store if you are going to buy one to save on the computer and the Applecare.
