Some of the MM's also give credit, but usually only to that school. I guess they are like taste testing and baiting, in a sense.
I think one pro of an MM is that it'd be easy to persuade a business you work for to pay for simple training of complex need, since many of them readily pay for continuing education and task-related certificates already.

I would not be able to get my employer to pay for the MM unless there was no free option. They'd be paying just for the certification itself rather than the education, and that would be a no-no.

Yes, as I said, you get credit if you're accepted to the program. Almost all of the programs have competitive admissions.

I might look into UMUC Cloud Computing degree since that would be in-state for me. I wish they had MM closer to Cybersecurity or infosec. But honestly it doesn't seem like a bad bet. The software assurance also looks good.
I wonder how much math would be involved in Cloud Computing.

APU has Undergrad Certs in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure Security, and Info Systems Security Essentials (those last 2 I have no idea what they are, but I was guessing they might be in the realm of what you're looking for). $810/course x 6 courses = $4860.
Sorry, I didn't remember that you were looking for a Graduate-level cert or degree.
