Search the forum for how to join POAG to get partnership pricing for Excelsior.

When I ran your credits through Athabasca, it did not look like you would have enough upper level to make that a feasible degree, so focusing on the Big 3 makes sense.
Some steps you could take right now would be:
1. Apply for the Guardian scholarship at Study.com. Take Personal Finance first and start as soon as you get approved. Then you might as well try English Composition II since you will be able to use that in any degree.
2. While you are waiting for approval, work on ALEKS math, preferably at least through College Algebra.
3. Have your credits evaluated by WES. You have lots of nice usable credits.
4. Also, Davar is offering Intro to Marketing for $20 until March 17.

The nice part about your credits is that you have so many. It's more of a challenge to find which degree program would use the most of them combined with which one would be easiest for you to complete using online options (Davar, Study.com, Straighterline, TECEP exams, Shmoop, etc.).

Thank you very much once again, KayV!

I followed through with looking through and taking the next steps.

1. Unfortunately, it states that Guardian Scholarship at Study.com is only for US Citizens and Green Card Holders; this would exclude me as a Canadian citizen. Would there be any alternative options available for application? A free $600 deal would be a huge help in minimizing costs, though I am not putting too much hope into this one...
2. I am learning more about ALEKS courses, but don't believe math will be too much of an issue; was one of my favorite subjects Smile
3. Seems as though Excelsior only accepts international transcript evaluations from ECE for their undergraduate programs. I've contacted my college to have a transcript sent out in any case, and to replace my diplomas! Are there specific pros/cons from using WES versus ECE?
4. Thank you

Cheers!

I would contact Study.com (they are here on the forum fairly often, you can PM them) to see if they have any offers for Canadians/ international students going.

For the BPS you only need College Algebra or Stats, not both, but generally Excelsior accepts Beginning Algebra, College Algebra, Trig or Precalculus, and Stats from ALEKS, taken in that order. This is different from TESU's policy.

ECE is fine, I forgot about that policy. I should have said to send your transcripts to an evaluator. Smile

More on Partner Pricing:
Excelsior has a few partnership programs that lead to big discounts on tuition and fees. A favorite here is from the Peace Officers Association of Georgia.

First, join POAG as an associate member for $25/ year. International members (indeed, anyone) may join as associate members.
https://poag.org/join-now/

When you are ready to enroll, you MUST mention that you are a member of POAG and would like partnership pricing (they have no way to know otherwise). Here is more info from Excelsior.
Excelsior College | Peace Officers Association of Georgia

Here is a ballpark of the total cost of tuition and fees from Excelsior. It is much cheaper not to take the 12 hours of Excelsior classes they mention and just take the Capstone instead.
Taking just a 3-hour Capstone

$0 to apply
$1095 Multi-Source enrollment fee
$1230 = $410 x 3 hours tuition
$450 graduation fee
Total $2775

Once again KayV,

Thank you for your information and assistance. I think I might start a journal once I get this off the ground for other international students who might be interested in attempting this; im sure im not the only one in the existence of this forum, but more insight might be helpful, at least to push the buck forward for the next guy/gal!
