True, besides from a few gen-ed course the curriculum has not really changed since I did my BSBA under the 2015 catalog.
The only difference I really spot is a required gen-ed speaking course (oral communication) and the corner-stone.

Does this apply to those of us who graduated in 2016?
BSBA/Accounting TESU (2016). MSA UIUC (2018).
Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios: TESU portfolio tips The first post has the Portfolio Checklist I created. Page ten has the actual narrative I wrote to receive credit for ACC-440.
Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here: Intermediate Accounting II.

TESU continues to focus on growing in brand recognition and quality. Wish that did not come with their recent increase in pricing but overall, still some solid wins these last two years.

I don't think so, but then again, "nothing" changed from the course point of view, the "pricing/requirements" may have changed.
Truthfully, I don't think it is, but my mind mentally would think it is applicable to anyone who graduated 2016+ as the requirements were updated.

You would think they would have slapped that ACBSP logo on their website the day it was recognized, but no info that I can see on their website. Seems to me they're behind the 8 ball on not just student-related service, but can't even put something good on there - which is CRAZY!
I'm wondering if they put the ACBSP on your degree or transcript anywhere? And also whether it only pertains to a degree after a certain date, and from a specific catalog year? Because if I was able to get it recognized just by taking a speech course (so pulling out of the 2014/15 catalog, and switching to the 2017/18 catalog, it might be worth it.

This may be something you can ask on the other forum or TESU, but I've never heard of accreditation being noted on someone's transcript. When verifying accreditation, employers normally look at the year of graduation and the years a school was accredited.
From a technical standpoint, TESU may not have met the ACBSP requirements years ago. The BSBA degree programs have changed to not having room for business electives, but all they did was move macro and microeconomics to the core.

Wouldn't you have to pay at least $500-800 extra for the residency waiver?

I'm not sure; I have residency because I have 16cr at the school; when I was enrolled, TECEP's counted for residency. They did take that option away for new students, but after I had already gotten it.
But if Sanantone is right, and they look at the year of graduation rather than the catalog year, then I'm good anyway, since I'll graduate this year, and it was accredited this year. Hopefully...

I don't think I'm going to get an answer on Degree Info. I'll bug Patricia Certo for the millionth time.
I double checked my transcript. There is no catalog year on it.
