I did take a look at Excelsior's Masters in Liberal Arts. It seems pretty straight forward, but not that different from many. The BIG advantage I see is that they are willing to accept 15 graduate credits as transfer credit. I can honestly say that if my current grad program fell through, I'd be all about Excelsior. I'd imagine that their program is best for those who already have grad credit earned.

I was accepted into Excelsior's MBA program back when it allowed transfer of all but 3 classes.

I hit a snag when they required me to take a Strategy Class when I already had graduate credits for the same class (same name, same topics, everything)...which pushed me to 4 classes.

I thought it was stupid to take another class again - which was compounded by the fact that they would not give me credit for my original Strategy class (graded A).

For that reason, I dis-enrolled and have been underwhelmed by Excelsior's graduate programs since (why can't they just continue their successful undergrad program recipe?)

That said, any graduate program that allows half credit transferred in is worth consideration (e.g. MS-Liberal Arts)
