I asked TESU the following question: If someone gets a BA in liberal studies from TESU including the capstone and later decides to pursue a BA in math, does he have to repeat the capstone? The answer was: yes, the capstone is degree-specific and would have to be repeated.
I still have these questions though: when is the earliest time that one can do the capstone? I think it says something about being less than 9 credits away from degree completion. Anyone has taken the capstone earlier? Also, the following scenario: someone is 3 credits away from completing a BA in liberal studies, does the capstone and then changes his mind and changes to a BA in math. In that case, do you think the completed capstone would be transferable to the other degree?

I don't think any capstone would be transferable unless only the concentration changed (ie BSBA in accounting vs BSBA in finance)
I am taking the capstone tecep this semester and have ZERO classes thus far with TESU, I have done about 7 courses via Study.com and SL. I was given the okay to take it as soon as I was prepared, they said they don't have hard pre requisites, just suggestions since we are all adults

when I was changing degree within the same school at TESU, they told me liberal arts capstone is the same for any degree in the (Heavin School of Arts and Sciences), so if you change major before graduating, but are still in that school, that box is checked

You can't really rely completely on information you get from TESU, you will get conflicting information. The Capstone for a BA should all be the same and the Capstone for a BS should all be the same. I heard once you are actually enrolled you can get better information then. (Not sure if you are or not)
