Need Help Creating a Degree Plan
#1
Hi guys! I've only recently heard about the Big 3 and the degree opportunities, and I'm kind of stuck trying to come up with a degree plan. Currently I'm attending a top 50 school (NYU/BU/UNC) for finance. I hate it, but I'm so far in its not worth dropping out. I have the capacity to take on an additional 30 hours a week for courses. The nuclear engineering program from TESU has been interesting me, and I was wondering if you guys would give me a hand at building a degree map for it. I have no clue on how to do it. There's alot of posts about business and nursing paths, but I haven't found one for a STEM degree. What is the cheapest and best possible method to acheive this degree? I have up to $15,000 that I could spare. I have 96ish credits so far, so would I have to take the basic writing courses again? Thanks for the help!

You probably aren't seeing those plan posted on here because they aren't fully test out capable. With the 96 credits you do have you can just plug and play them to the degree your looking at. Mostly likely you will need to complete the AOS courses at a school because I don't see any possible test out options for these courses. And if you completed Eng Comp I and II you shouldn't have to redo those.

Nuclear Engineering is one of those majors that goes well with a military program- in this case, the U.S. Navy nuclear power program. Have you considered finishing your BS and then joining the Navy?

Post the courses you've taken and we can help more. Group them by school, tell whether it's a 2-yr/CC or 4-yr school, whether it's a semeter-based or quarter-based system, and include the course number, course name, and number of credits. Also include any grade lower than a C, since that may be important.
