Hey you guys I need your great minds to help me!
I'm in the process of my B.A Sociology at TESU and I am almost complete but I am short a few sociology electives and have been actively searching for options. Fyi I live in Canada so my options are more limited. I am aware of the two new lower level sociology courses offered by Tor College Credits which I intend to do but based on what I have I need 4 more upper level sociology electives and I will complete my degree!! Please I need online options that is easy on my wallet. In addition I need the quickest options something along the lines of Straighterline. Something that starts anytime and is self paced that I can finish as quick as I could or credit by exam is also another option. Anything you guys can suggest will help I really do not wanna settle for over priced weeks long courses!! Please I know you geniuses can think of something!

Have you considered Penn Foster? I understand TESU no longer pre-plans PF courses, but, I would still confirm with Advising if they would fit the Sociology AOS. The following are active in the ACE database:
Terrorism (SOS-440)
Victimology (SOC-3XX)
Cultural Diversity in the Early Childhood Program (SOC-3XX) ????
If memory serves study.com offers Social Psychology (PSY-370)

Where in Canada are you? Canadians are cool eh?
Hmm, you might want to copy/paste your courses that you've taken and will take into a spreadsheet and paste it here.
Our members love helping out and you can help us further by providing more details.
As there are so many courses in a degree, we may be just providing you duplicate courses you have already taken...

Study.com definitely has social psychology, does TESU accept soc. psych as a Sociology class? I could see the argument why it could, but not sure they would do that. I'm also not sure the early childhood education class would come in as Soc

The ones listed by CSU-Global (Working in Modern Society, and Race Gender & Ethnic Relations in the US) are considered UL there, so they should come in as UL to TESU. But it's always good to get them pre-approved before taking them. And they are $250 each. There may be some additional ones there that would work as well (Race Class & Crime, or Juvenile Justice).

Social Psychology at one time could be used under sociology, psychology or social sciences AOS. This may have changed which is why I recommended speaking with Advising first to confirm if the courses would fit.
Cultural diversity in childhood education I am really not sure of which is why I have ???? listed next to it. In my opinion it does not hurt to ask. TESU, at leasst in the past, was accommodating on subject electives.

Certainly worth asking, and I hope we find out some good news on those options. It'd be nice to male that soc degree easier.
