I don't see a capstone, but a lot of these courses are going to be hard to find elsewhere anyway. I see that TESU has also added a couple of new healthcare programs in partnership with Rutgers.

I wonder if they are basing it off of certs. LPI that is listed with the Linux requirement is a certification organization. It looks similiar to a WGU program, so maybe the Intro courses are code words for the Microsoft MTA exams.

I see a lot of options for someone with certs to use PLA. CCNA for routing and switching. CEH for Offensive Security. CHFI for Forensics. MCSA for Windows. CCNA:Sec for Firewalls. CCNA:Wireless or the other wireless cert for Wireless. SSCP, CISSP, CASP, etc for defensive security. MTAs and/or CompTIAs for Intro. Cloud+ for Cloud computing.

The Ethical Hacking CBE form CSU Global should match up with Offensive Security and the Cloud and Big data one for Cloud computing. Not sure if Sophia Project Management would work for IT project management.

Also seem to be a lot of overlap between the requirements and those for the MS IT so possible dual degree here too.

I've been waiting for this to show up. Looks like I would need at least 30 credits. Wouldn't switch now , but could be an option for a 2nd degree. More technical than BSBA:CIS and could use the help with GPA and writing for grad school.

This would be a very expensive degree to get through TESU, I think you'd be better off at WGU, or APU.

Is anyone seeing this in their "What if I changed my program of study" dropdown menu?

It would be a little more expensive than APUS. Anyone choosing to take a lot of courses at TESU would choose the Comprehensive Tuition Plan. Since APUS caps non-traditional credits, it might end up being cheaper at TESU. Does WGU have a cybersecurity degree at the undergraduate level?

WGU has a BSIT in Security.

I was not thinking of the Comprehensive plan. But I was thinking that there are probably a lot of other options to get this type of degree less expensively than TESU. I just threw 2 out there. But really, I think a degree and then a cert in Cybersecurity, or a masters would probably be a better deal than the whole BS degree from TESU. Just a thought.

This looks like a great degree! If there are a lot of alternative credit methods for it I would definitely consider switching from current path to BSBA CIS.
TESU March 2020 Graduation
--ASNSM Mathematics
--BSBA Accounting
--BA Computer Science

University of Alaska Fairbanks (December 2021 Graduation Goal)
--MBA (2/10 : 4.0)

I started this journey in the summer of 2016.  I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.

If you read the entire post from start to finish, you will see that this is not a degree that has an inexpensive route.

Yea I did see that :/
Who knows though. Maybe in the future some ace/nccrs options may present themselves for this degree option.
