In an effort to humble her Papa - my daughter opened an ALEKS account today and it's barely 5 hours later and she has secured 9 credits:
Intro to Statistics (1 hour 10min)
PreCalculus (1 hour 35min)
College Algebra (45min)
Prior both of my girls gave me a lot of love for finishing 12 credits through ALEKS in a couple of days (College Algebra, PreCalc, Trigonometry, Business Statistics). They thought it was pretty impressive all that math info was still running around in my head My daughter finished so fast that I thought ALEKS had changed and perhaps there was another step missing (Impossible I Say!!! . Nope - it was just a younger stronger mind at work and now the girls of the house (including my wife) are feeling pretty confident about their leadership power!!! Our boys are only 14 & 8 but we have already had a meeting to strategize how we are going to reclaim RANSOMVILLE!!!

Wowzers! I thought finishing 5 ALEKS courses/month was fast, hats off to the wonderful work you've done to support your daughter!
You're an amazing father and she's an amazing lady, doing well I see, hope everything she's working towards is in easy reach.

1 hour 10 minutes Intro to Stats is unreal!!! How did she manage it ? Did she keep requesting assessments back to back or did she work through the pie then request a new assessment?
Congrats to her!

@bjcheung77 - thank you for those kinds words. She loves the challenges of life and navigates through them like a pro. It is really cool watching her tackle this new chapter.
@nnahh - she worked through the pie and then requested a new assessment (there was a snack break in-between). The speed was impressive for sure but when you checked out the amount of mastery in the pie breakdown it becomes an even cooler story. She was actually worried prior to starting ALEKS - I told her that it must be opposite day because 'worried' sure looks like 'confidence' to me!!!
@yb1 - that gif cracks me up. Congratulations on finishing!

@cookderosa - our girls are pro unicorn and will love that compliment!!!
@niki - the core of her study came from my wife & I over the years (we're a math family), lots of cool educational youtube videos and while I had an account with study.com (1 month), she worked through the Statistics Course like a champ. My younger daughter is actually the strongest in the house at math and at one point wanted to be be a Math Professor (annual salary search killed that dream for her . She now has her heart set on being a Marine Biologist (yes I know salary is similar. However, Passion + Salary = Happiness . She is still determined eclipse her big sisters time but shared she's in no rush to do it right now. Knowing her competitive style, I would not be surprised at all if she comes out ahead in the end.

@keepsingin - definitely super proud. Our common question in the house is 'What's Your Legacy Going To Be In Life' and even though they are way to young to have a clear response, their actions speak volumes.
