Looks like this course is credit only, no grade. No using this for a cheap course to establish GPA.

Where does the cornerstone show up on the evaluation?

It's showing up as an elective for me.

A required course showing up as an elective? TESU is getting stranger by the minute.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

A free elective, though I'm not sure if this is because I've already fulfilled my Gen Ed elective requirements with other courses.

So far, it's been a very watered down version of the Freshman "College Readiness" course that I took at my first B&M about 10 years ago. It started with a "General Knowledge" assessment that reminded me of SAT practice exams, and now I'm going through the subsequent sections on Ways to Earn Credit, Academic Policies & Integrity, Support Center, etc. In each section, there is a multiple choice question (sometimes two) after every concept is explained. I honestly haven't read the material that closely, because I know the answers to most of those questions from reading this forum & the Wiki, and rigorously combing through the TESU site even before I applied. 100% so far Smile

I can see it being more useful to someone who has never enrolled in any kind of college, or hasn't had experience with online learning, but I'm a little annoyed that I paid $300 for something that I'll probably be able to finish in between breaks at work.

Exactly. It makes sense why you'd want an incoming freshman to take a basic readiness course like this, but it should be waived if you have a minimum of x amount of college credits under your belt, or something to that effect. At least they're not charging full price, but $300 is still too much for something that should really just be an orientation video.
