The fact that they can do it in 1 day (or 5, in your example) but make you wait the full 25 anyway. Maybe I want to send in an ACE transcript and have it evaluated *now*, or ASAP.

Well they could at least provide the option. A fee for "expedited service" would not affect you if you didn't use it.

Sure, doesn't impact me. But neither does having to wait a few days. I'm not saying you theoretically shouldn't choose this option were it available, but it's a waste of money for me, personally. I'd rather just be patient with extra money in my pocket.

That just sounds like more work for them to process everything by changing a format as (Do ASAP vs At your convenience). Otherwise it would take them even longer for them to get back to others because someone is always cutting in line so to speak.
I do think the wait is a bit crazy, but if that's the process so be it.

I don't subscribe to the "shrug my shoulders and accept it" approach to life.

Eh, from a business mindset it makes zero sense to undercut the general public that is willing to wait for a reply vs those who lack patience.
If it was an option to expedite the process, then sure it would be fine. However, since they don't have that there isn't anything you or I can do about it and complaining about it is, in my opinion, childish. They don't owe you that service. The world doesn't owe anyone anything. lol
But here we are digressing from my topic in this thread. So, let's not focus on the wrong material here. If you want to start a thread for complaining, then please do that elsewhere.
I am still looking to get some extra help organizing my pathway for TESU's BACS so I can transfer in, finish their core classes, and cash out with my degree.
I just sent them my transcripts from my previous institution and trying to get a promo code or application fee waiver. However, so far, it has been unsuccessful.
Most of the help will have to come after I hear back from TESU and see where my credits fall into place. From there, I will have a real road map to work with that will help me. In the mean time, I guess I will take some ALEKS courses such as Trig/PreCalc/Calc I/Statistics as a refresher and for credits in case I do need them. And for $40 for the 5 weeks i'm waiting to hear back from them; i believe is a good way to use my time.

Hey guys!
I don't know why I didn't see this link earlier, but for crying out loud if you're going to attend TESU and want to find your equivalencies super easily without all the fuss. And again, I thank Davewill and dfrecore for their help with making a pathway for my study.
Here is TESU's OFFICIAL Equivalency list. All you need to do is setup a spreadsheet with your Degree's Curriculum and add their equivalencies as lists.
Code: http://www.tesu.edu/academics/cal/acp.cfm
Talk about making it simple. (I will still be waiting for TESU's response to where my credits will go, but at least now I know those "missing" credits I am aware of can be filled and work towards those).
Will keep you all posted as I find out more information.

That link only works for ACP credits. There are additional credits that are ACE-approved that aren't on that list. They also have a list of CLEP and DSST exams, SL has a list on their own website, study.com has a list on theirs. The only issues come about when you see equivalencies, but you're not quite sure where that will fit into your degree. Just having a course equivalency is not enough, you have to know where it goes.

And TESU is not going to volunteer a list of all the outside exams and courses that fit in the AOS. They will only recommend their own courses.
They will only answer if xyz exam applies to ABC requirement.

Yeah, I sort of figured that. Seeing it as colleges/universities are just businesses I wouldn't assume they would give me a free list of exams to take to test out of their courses.
I do not see the problem with equivalencies you're trying to point out. If I needed to take 2 more humanities such as psychology and sociology and study.com had both of those course equivalencies, then wouldn't that just take care of it? Maybe that's an oversimplification but I truly don't know.
Thanks for all the feedback, guys.

If you are starting from scratch or with very few credits, follow the Basic Approach - Online Education Guide on the degreeforum.wikia.com wiki page. There are other exam degree plans as well, and you can see what suits you more.
