A couple of things:
1) CLEP says they will only keep your records for 20 years, not sure if that's still the case; ACE will keep forever, so it might behoove you to transfer it to ACE at some point along the way so you don't have those exams disappear someday.
2) If a college looks at your CLEP scores and doesn't know what they are, there's a good possibility they don't accept CLEP exams; I would always find out if a college accepts CLEP before paying to take an exam.

I put all my CLEP/DSST/ECE exams on all three of the below. I would not wait!
ACE Transcript
DSST/CLEP Transcript
JST Transcript (Military)
Time goes by fast and rules change. JST use to put ECE Exams on the JST, but would not on mine as I asked too late (all Army paid ECE exams). JST did all my CLEP/DSST Exams after the fact (all Army CLEP/DSST paid exams).
I put all my CLEP/DSST credits below on my ACE Transcript except ONE course that ACE did not have in their system any more (aged out).:ack:

Those are both good points! I did make sure my college accepts CLEP, which they do, thankfully!

That answered my question. Thank you!
kalishakti Wrote:Yes it is, if you put the college codes you do not need to send additional transcripts. I agree that most schools other than the Big 3, WGU, Patten etc. would be more receptive to College Board transcripts vs. ACE.
In my case, however, I took the AP exams between 2010 and 2013 before I was looking at the Big 3. The fee for an AP transcript is $15, plus an additional $25 if your last exam was 4+ years ago. According to the person I spoke to on the phone, since my last exam was 2013 I do not need to pay the extra fee.

:coolgleam: Same here, mistakes happen; I do that often, well, sometimes just to put emphasis on what I was asking or answering.
