Align Degree Organizational Communication (COM 310)
Align Degree Diversity and Multicultural Communication (COM 335)

You can shoot off an email to TESU and see if they transfer over, see what they say...
Did either yourself, or someone you know complete the Align Degree or Sophia courses?

My spreadsheet shows the following (I got the info from a forum member here, not sure from who or when though, I just put things in as I find them out):
Sophia
Conflict Resolution COM-299
Visual Communications COM-231
And this is the last info I had on the following (no info on actual courses, just what's been discussed):
Align
Communication & Conflict Management - LL
Diversity & Multicultural Communication - LL, and expired in 2014
Organizational Communication - will probably transfer as MAN-373 (same as Saylor, SL, etc.)
If I were you, I would just ask TESU what the course equivalencies are for these. You can even send them the info from ACE if you think it would help.

No I did not take any of these classes myself. The info is for a friend that's trying to get her BA done at TESU.
Thank you

Thank you dfrecore for the response. It nice to know how they show up at TESU. She already has Mang Communications done. Just looking for a few more. Was really hoping these would work. Thank you very much for the info.

Is this for a BA in Communications? Because they list a bunch of courses in the electives section that might work.
And there are cheaper options than Sophia and Align (LowCostGenEd.com):
TECEP - Marketing Comm (MAR-321) $114
TECEP - Negotiations & Conflict Management (NEG-401) $114 - I would check first, not sure how this comes in
TECEP - Public Relations (COM-209)
TECEP - News Reporting (JOU-110)
TECEP - Technical Writing (ENG-201)
study.com - Advanced Technical Writing (not sure of the equivalency) - double check on this one $199/2 courses in a month less 20% off coupon
CSU-Global has a slew of Comm courses (10 in the Comm section plus Communication Strategies for Leaders) - all 9 are UL courses. $250 per exam

No it's not a BA in communications. It is either Humanities or LS at this point. Depends how it all comes together for her. I am wondering how the study.com advanced tech writing might come in at TESU? That could be the solution. Thank you

For the OP, does this communications course have to be lower level or upper level? If it's just lower level, if the person hasn't done any communications courses but the Managerial Communications they can go for the SL Intro to Communications (basically Public Speaking); for UL see if the Business Comm/Corp Comm at Saylor or SL is sufficient for use to the degree they're seeking. The Saylor and SL courses both come in differently and both are UL.
Corporate Communication ACPE-0006 Saylor MAN-373
Business Communication ACPE-0009 Straighterline COM-300
Introduction to Communications ACPE-0010 Straighterline COM-108

It needs to be upper level. Already has Business Comm. I think Saylor Corp communication duplicates that? So that's why I have been searching. She can go LS or Humanities degree. LS might be a little easier in the end. But thank you for your suggestions. Much appreciated.

So does Saylor Corporate Communications MAN 373 duplicate Business Communications COM300?
