Excelsior is not giving me elective credits versus the arts and sciences credits that I need for a course. I took and passed the course at a major university. Yet, even with a syllabus and course description, they will not give me the proper credit. They stated that the material is dated, which is a silly reason. I just did an appeal to the Dean. Does anyone know if these appeals are ever successful? I feel like I am wasting my time. I am very frustrated.

Please update if you can. I am about to appeal for 2 ACE approved courses for UL credit.
Thanks in advance

I will, but they told me it could be a month for a reply. I am supposed to graduate within a month. This has ruined everything.

It was a science course and it was from the college of natural science in the course number. I passed it at a major university. They want to call it applied professional.

Depending how old the course is, and/or if it's a niche science course, it's understandable. How old is the course, and what specifically was the subject?
Could you knock out a straighterline science course (with or without lab) to still be able to graduate?

I am pleasantly surprised to report that they turned around a response in one day. I was given the credit as a science course.

That's great to hear. Are they still allowing you to graduate on time?
