Help me plan course of attack
#1
Good afternoon guys, recently accepted into TESC and am interested in picking up a BA in English. I cannot get my transcripts sent over to the Admissions office quite yet due to holds at my previous college. Just wanted to make sure I had enough credits to bank my associates degree, and then perhaps get your opinions on a plan of attack to fast-track/lower cost of getting my English degree. Would really appreciate any feedback, Thanks!

Am looking into taking some Clep tests to speed things up, but might not be able to any time soon due to my current location. (Sydney, Australia)

So in math I have
-Beginners algebra, Aleks
-Intermediate Algebra, Aleks
-College Algebra, Aleks
-Trigonometry, Aleks
-Statistics of behavioral sciences, Alecs

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Someone else from Australia was on here recently and couldn't do CLEP/DSST's. There are plenty of other ACE-approved ways to get credits: TEEX, Kaplan PLA, NFA are all free. Low cost options: Straighterline, Jumpcourse, Saylor, TECEP, etc. All of these are online, and the tests if there are any are taken at home. UExcel has testing centers in Sydney.

And there are even more options if you get up into the $200-$300/course range: CSU Global, Sophia, LowCostGenEd, Propero, Torah College Credits.

So don't let the lack of CLEP/DSST exams stop you!!
