Can someone check out my degree plan please?
#1
This is my ASBA degree plan... can someone please double check it for me?

Should I forward this to an adviser prior to bringing in more outside credits or signing up for more TECEP exams?

Also note that I am under the 2015 catalog!

Thanks!

Edit - forgot to mention this is for TESC

Do you have any specific questions?

i noticed you have a lot of TECEPs, Maybe replace the ACC-101 and 102 with Straighterlines?
for and A/S you only need 12 TESC credits. 24 for BA
Never taken any Saylor courses, so can't help you there

Quantitative Literacy (3 Credits) MAT-121 College Algebra. May want to check if Intermediate algerbra fits here cause its a lower level than college algerbra. You may as well take them both since you are already paying for ALEKS

I am assuimg you have already seen this? Doesnt include some good sources for credit but gives you a good idea.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just looking for obvious holes, but I did have one other question - do I need to inform TESC ahead of time of what I plan to use, or can I just transfer something in and they will apply it accordingly? I've got a few things I've not yet transferred in.

As far as TECEPs vs Straighterline - I'm afraid I'll end up stalling while working through the straighterline courses and pay a bunch of money that I didn't need to. At least the TECEPs put me up against a hard time limit.

It looks good. I would take ALEKS College Algebra while you're at it, you will need it if you want to get a BSBA. Precalc wouldn't be a bad idea either, if you can manage in a short period of time. If you don't mind math, and are already doing a bunch anyway, you might want to think about the College Math CLEP and the Applied Liberal Arts Math TECEP. Just for the extra credits you would need if you got that BSBA.

I don't know if you need to plan out your degree ahead of time with TESC, mostly because with this forum, you already know what courses will transfer in as. You don't need to tell them about TECEP's for sure, those go into your plan as you register for them. Saylor has an agreement with them as well, so those courses are taken care of.

I would just get started! Good luck!
