Who do you want for President in 2016?
#11
If push comes to shove, I'll write in my own name. I've done it for other offices. It's doubtful that I'll win, but at least I know what I stand for, and what I'll fall for! (I can be very gullible.)

take the quiz and see which party and presidential candidate you most align with

2016 Political Quiz

be sure and look at
"Other stances"
and the
"how important is this to you" of the left of the question is it's available

and also the
"Show more questions"
at the bottom of each section

at the end of the quiz it will show how you align with parties and issues

then click on the President tab and see who your candidate should be

My results aren't all that surprising. Political parties in order of agreement:

Democratic
Green
Socialist
Libertarian
Constitution
Republican

I agree with all of the parties on more than 50% of the issues except for the Republican Party, but I already knew who I wouldn't be voting for. I could only vote for a Republican with Libertarian leanings.

I got:
Republican 100%
Constitutionalist 94%
Libertarian 84%
Green 6%
Democrat 1%

I might take it again, see if I can reduce the match with democrat a bit more Smile

That said, I might skip voting this cycle, so far I don't like any of them. It was tough to vote for Romney last time too.

Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Ugh...I didn't vote for Romney but I knew I was splitting my vote. I just couldn't do it in good conscience.

I guess I should post my percentages because I'm quite proud of my diversity of opinions.

Democrats - 92%
Green - 91%
Socialist - 88%
Libertarians - 61%
Constitution - 57%
Republicans - 36%

This is an easy one for me. I will be voting for Bernie Sanders. Though we might part on a couple of issues, I love his views on most political issues.

With a username of Upton Sinclair, this is probably not very surprising.

I'll avoid voting for Bernie, anyone read his creepy gang rape fantasy essay? Not at all surprising, hah! I do appreciate that Bernie comes out and says he is a socialist rather than others who hide behind mainsteam labels, let's get the real discussion out in the open. Times have certainly changed, I can't imagine a presidential election a couple of decades ago in which the number two presidential candidate for any party would be a socialist, I guess that wouldn't have went over well with most of America considering we were locked in a cold war with...socialism.
