Hey everyone, I'm in a holding pattern while my CLEP/DSST transcript request is going through the wickets (took them all while in the AF, so it's a single form snail mail submission for $30), and realized I have no idea how TESC deals with discontinued tests. I'm assuming my Freshman College Comp & English Composition will at MOST be considered 3 credits total and cover Eng Comp I, but not sure how the recently discontinued DSST's Western Europe Since 1945 & Modern Middle East will be treated. Does anyone have recent experience on how TESC deals with discontinued exams?

If you do receive a negative reply concerning the evaluation of your credits, at the very least challenge it; many of us here in the board have had luck with having decisions overturned because of one mis/uninformed advisor at times not knowing better.
The way I look at it, just because DSST discontinued exams doesn't mean their equivalencies in whichever school you're going into has been discontinued themselves (i.e. if TESC has an equivalent course and/or recognizes the class for credit, the ones you've already earned are still good to go). Still, that's my personal look at it, and we've already seen TESC come out with some headscratching decisions of their own.
