What if you take a four/ five unit class at regional? Does it convert to same units?

What if you take a four or five unit class at regional? Does it convert to same units? Regular credits, not half/quarter hours.

If you take a four or five unit class at either the lower or upper level at a regional college do colleges like TESC count it as four units or downgrade it to their three? Example:

Our CC: MATH 03: Intermediate Algebra. 5 Units

(It’s five units because it weeds it way into beginning college algebra by the last two or three weeks of the eighteen week course. There's another class called "Intermediate Algebra for Non-STEM Majors" thats three credits, but is basic Liberal Arts major Intermediate Algebra only.)

TESC: MATH 115: Intermediate Algebra. 3 Units

Would TESC/CC/EXT count the class for only 3 units because their same class is 3 units, or would they transfer/convert the whole 5 units? Two units makes a difference in working up to 120. Especially being a course I have to take. Would they see a five unit math class being a more superior class than a three unit course? Talking about an actual course taken at an actual college...not testing out course.

They should bring in the full number of credits. For example, I have four credits of ENC-101 because my CC had this as a four credit course. As long as classes you bring over are college level, TESC should award the same number of credits and move around requirements with the overage created. In my case, the extra credit meant one less was needed in General Education Electives.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Yes. My English 1 class is the same thing. It was 4 Units. I'm guessin the same would apply toward electives. I was curious about that. Yeah, so far all my credits are college and not ttesting out or the likes of testing out. Weird thing about colleges. A course will be 4 Units at one campus, and the same course at another campus can be only 3 units. I guess it comes to how many lecture hours one is over the other. I still never know when I was in CC how some of the kids out of HS would take like 15 or 18 units. I know that's full time, but yikes! I couldn't even do 12 units in one semester (although I worked nights because I had to pay for school somehow and no way I was taking a student loan out over CC)
