^^ I am confused because there is a difference between adding more test titles to the retired exam list for DSST and refreshing the exams. All of the exams mentioned so far are the last of the ones that have not been refreshed. I wonder if DSST is using the wrong terminology in regards to these exams. Maybe the old version of the exams is being retired, but a refreshed exam will take its place? Might have to make a call or send an email myself...

When you go to their website, those exams now say ACE evaluations and credit recommendations have expired for this exam. As of December 31, 2014 DSST testing centers will no longer offer this exam.
Does NOT sound like they're going to be refreshed at all. Just going away.

I asked a question of facebook this week and they are ending those exams, they just launched a new Cyber security DSST this week although it doesn't apply to my degree plan.

^^Yes, this code is still good to go until 2/1/15. Just make sure you don't miss the screen where this code needs to be entered.

Good news! The notation on these exams has just changed: Starting January 1, 2015 this exam will be temporarily removed from registration and will return once we complete our revisions, update content, and receive new ACE approvals.
These are 3 of the exams with the old 2-number scoring, so I'm thinking that they'll be taking courses off and revising them and moving to the new 3-number scoring system in groups. If you want to take one of the old tests, better to do it now while they're still available. You wouldn't want to wait and then need that last DSST exam to complete your degree, and find that it's offline being revised for who knows how long!

This only applies to General Anthropology, Money and Banking, and Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union. Modern Middle East, Western Europe, and Business Law II are still gone. I wonder how long it will take them to revise these. It would have been nice to know this several weeks ago. I was in the process of studying for Money and Banking. I wish I had known it was going to be going away, I could have turned my attention to something else. I think those 3 that they are revising are the last of the ones that were on the old scoring system. Once they are refreshed, they will all be on the 200-500, 400 = pass system.
