Penn Foster Strategic Management - Random Thoughts

D. Evans sounds like a good instructor. Before, you just showed up and responded. There wasn't much of an attempt to help you delve deeper into connecting the webinar with the course.

I have a question for those of you that have completed this course.

How did you format the final paper? Did you do a narrative of the case study or did you setup a question and answer format based on the questions in the instructions.

I have the final paper drafted based on the questions and I'm wondering the best way to do the final copy.

On another note, the webinars are a pain. I have not been able to attend even one yet. They are 4:00 pm my time and I'm still working at that time a day. I'm hoping to do the first one tomorrow.

I wrote and essay format with each question asked as a paragraph.

This is most likely something that is expected. Why don't you contact the instructor to find out if you can be given an evening time in your location (or weekend access)? They should be able to allow you to submit your answer to the posed question via email contact. I would ask as soon as possible.

Remember you are a non-enrolled student only receiving ACE credit for the course. Not to ruffle feathers but it is not actually a capstone course, it's an easy alternate. That said, I can't see them being unwilling to help you fulfill the webinar requirement in a timely manner.

I have a question that I was wondering if anyone might know the answer to. I sent an email to the instructor, but haven't heard anything back yet. I registered for this class last week because I didn't want my student ID to expire so I registered. I'm not ready to start working on this class quite yet though. My question is will the webinars be offered more than once? I missed the first one and I'm in the middle of another class right now so I don't want to do the webinars yet. Are they only offered once?

Thanks!!

First off, I don't know that you need to worry about expired student IDs. I probably took courses from PF under 3 or 4 different studen ID numbers.

Unless things have changed, don't worry about "missing" a webinar. When you take your webinars is not linked to any chapters in the book;folks are coming to the webinars at different levels of knowledge. Again, unless things have changed, each webinar is unique, and does not cover a particular topic. It's not as though you have to take Topic A, Topic B, etc. You just hve to take the number required (3?), and that's it. Any three, whenever you want to take them, and you're done with that requirement.

Okay, thank you Laterbloomer!! I guess I was wanting to make sure that after the 3 that are listed have passed, will there be more dates that become available?

I finished my last seminar right before my time expired for taking the course. They offer webinars every month as far as I know.

I have my last webinar Tuesday and I'm still waiting for my final paper to be grade. I uploaded it Sunday, how long did it take for all of your papers to be graded?

How was hoping to be wrapped up next week and now I'm stressing over why its taking so long to get the grade.

Yes, HoreseManiac, they keep adding dates. Don't cut it close, though. As I recall, at least one and maybe two of the webinars I signed up for were cancelled.
