What thread is missing?
edited to add....I think I see what you mean now, I can understand that one being pulled, no reason for the capitalists here to allow the endorsement of competitors...I agree with that. (or maybe I'm missing something)...happens all the time the older I get.

There was name calling, but the CollegePlus thread was worse.

Just to clarify....the thread I presume you are referring to is one that generated quite a heated discussion including a few traded insults that was all a result of a virtual outsider who opted to hawk his money-making website here in our classroom. This action, paramount to posting spam, is not appropriate to begin with, however when the end result goes beyond discussion and social argument and just get divisive and nasty then I'm going to pull the plug and of course ban those who are for the most part directly responsible for posting the "spam site", stirring the pot, and disrupting our classroom - period. This happens from time to time when these hawkers show up, enter their initial first time posts, and sit back and enjoy the show until the hook comes in from stage left and pulls the disruptive act off the stage.

I went to bed early. It looked like the thread was dying down the last time I looked at it.

Thank you Shotojuku!!! One thing I love about this forum is that it is always so nice. I think it's why I still choose to hang out well after finishing my Big 3 degree. The internet is full of forums for argument and angry debate… I think I'll stay here
