Has anyone taken the College Math using only IC? I'm not great at math but need this credit to complete degree. Any help for non math majors is greatly appreciated.

I took it last week, found some free resources on Khan and Petersons in addition to IC. I was WAY overprepared and IC was enough.

Last time I took a math class was Precalculus/Trig....15 years ago.

Also, I really....... REALLY suck at math but in order to graduate I need 6 credits of math (whether it be mathematics or algebra). I wasn't looking into taking the Mathematics CLEP which is 6 credits, just what I need to get rid of taking math. My question is who has taken it? How hard is it (in your opinion)? and most importantly what should I focus on when studying for it? Thanks...

Both of these exams have been discussed ad nauseam. If the search bar in the upper right hand corner isn't working for you. Go to your favorite search engine and type in:

Passed Amer Hist II & Info Sys & Com App using only IC; 67 & 68, respectively.

How was the test for Info sys and comp. App. I am currently studying for Intro to business law and will be moving on to info sys. next. I would like to know how the cleps exams are? how many questions, are they similar to the questions in the flash cards?

I took the Humanities CLEP on 1/30/14 and passed with a 51-yikes! Best advice I can offer you, study the explanation and don't worry too much about the fill in the blanks! I was too focused on the percentage at the end of each section in Instant Cert that my mind went on auto-pilot mode and remembered all the fill in the blanks vs the actual material itself.

Again, read the explanation and you will do just fine.

Hello! I will be taking the Social Science and History CLEP next week. So many sections to study! Any advice you can offer? Also, how would you rate the level of difficulty?

OK, so I decided that I am done taking classes and I will test out the rest. So I am going to take the easy way and take two cleps and be done. I know the A&I Lit is easy from what I heard. So, that I am not worried about. Any suggestions of another easy 6 credit exam. Afterwards I will be finished!!!

Social Sciences & History CLEP. It covers a lot of subject areas so it is broad but not deep. Try some practice tests and see how you do.

I got a 64 on my Money and Banking DSST using only IC and the information on the forum related to this test for IC members.
However, I would not call it easy, however on the flip side, I found it easier than Macroeconomics CLEP. Make sure you understand the IC cards and you should be fine.
