Hi everyone.
Just starting study for CLEP. I have a few questions. How long did it take for you to be ready for the exam? Have you any links to good resources to help study? Thanks.

Can someone provide a link to the Peterson's exams?
Also, I found the REA intro psych book in Google, but it's from 2005. Is this current enough for this test? Thanks much.

People used to access Peterson's exams through a site funded by taxpayers in the state of Indiana. Now you have to live in Indiana.
There is a site for people in the U.S. military to access Peterson's exams. If you're not in the military, it's not for you.

Awesome! Any help you can offer? I'm taking this test next Tuesday and only have been studying instacert flash cards... Should I be branching out?

I used mostly IC to prepare for this test. I also did use a introductory textbook called Homeschool Psych by Dr. Tim Rice, which was a nice overview and groundwork before hitting the flashcards. I went over the IC flashcards until I knew them really well. When I took the Official CLEP study guide practice test, however, I only got 64%. But I went ahead and took the test anyway because I had already spent a couple of weeks studying. I got a 72! Praise the Lord! The actual test seemed a little easier than the practice test.

Try taking a practice test to gauge your readiness level - the Official CLEP Study Guide has a great one in it! You might also find the REA guide useful - I know that it helped me out a lot, but it was still short enough to read quickly. Good luck on your CLEP!
