In 1979 I paid $4203.00 for a brand new "Vette" direct from the dealership.



It was a Chev-VETTE!!

In 1993 my friend got a speeding ticket in a Chev-vette doing 75mph. He told the judge "Sir, I drive a Chev-Vette, there is no way I could go that fast." The Judge laughed "Nolled, get outta here kid"

I never understood the concept of buying a car and just leaving it the way it is. I can't leave anything stock; not a car, not a house, not even the human body. I guess this is why I've never really been attracted to "exotic" or "sports" cars. Looks neat though.

My C6 is stock and I too used to mod everything. Until I bludgeoned myself in the face with a cast iron steering knuckle while modding my Camaro. I took a hiatus
