In the last two weeks I've taken:
History of the Vietnam War 71 Intro to Law Enforcement 73 Substance Abuse 453 All using IC only. I put about 6 or so hours of going through the cards for each. I have the following remaining and hope they go as well as my last 3: Fundamentals of Counseling Intro to World Religions American History I Race to save the Planet

Has anyone passed intro to Modern Middle East with just IC?
Thanks!!!

Technically I didn't use IC but I passed Analysing and Interpreting Lit. without any preparation today with a 76.

So I've finished all the CLEPs I intended to take, I might still take the Humanities CLEP for some easy extra credits if I have an issue with transfer credit.
I didn't buy a single study resource, but I did buy a Peterson's test for Macro. Complete list of CLEPs I took as follows: Sept 10: A&I Lit: 76 - Cold Intro to Psych: 63 - Cold Principles of Mgmt: 67 - Cold Sept 11: Principles of Mktg: 66 - Cold Macroeconomics: 66 - 1 hour IC + 1 Peterson's test Microeconomics: 55 - 30 minutes IC Sept 13: Business Law: 67 - 2 hours IC So I didn't use IC that much but I can definitely say that it covers the right information and for the exams which are more about memorisation (e.g. B-Law) rather than understanding concepts (e.g. Micro) it is really all you need. A quick run through the flashcards and exam threads combined with some intuition during the test was enough for me, YMMV. Thanks everyone for all the data points in this thread and others, they were a big boost to my confidence in writing these tests. I'll post some info about the DSSTs I'm taking when I'm finished them all by the end of the week.

Okay, so I wrote (possibly) my last DSST today. I took 11 in total in 4 different states in less than 30 days. I passed them all, using no textbooks at all and only using official study materials/practice tests. Here's the details:
August 27 (Devry, Fremont CA) Fundamentals of Counselling: 52 (Cold) August 29 (Devry, Fremont CA): Intro to World Religions: 460 (3h IC) August 30 (Devry, Fremont CA): Substance Abuse: 424 (personal experience ) Organisational Behaviour: 55 (official practice test) Sept 17 (Sacramento Test Proctoring Services, Sacramento CA) : Intro to Business: 441 (cold) Principles of Supervision: 460 (cold) Mgmt Info Sys: 454 (cold) Sept 20 (Mercer County Community College, West Windsor NJ): HR Mgmt: 57 (cold) Business Ethics: 430 (cold) Sept 22 (Cambridge Business Institute, New York NY): Business Maths: 445 (BAII+ Tutorial) Principles of Finance: 447 (~1.5h Official practice test/study guide, BAII+ Tutorial) Thinking of taking Money and Banking in the coming days just for "insurance" of a failed TECEP. I took most of them cold (not a good strategy obviously) but I found most of them to be really easy. I'm disappointed with my Substance Abuse score and I'm still scratching my head as I write this about my Finance score. Principles of Finance was a monster and I guess I studied the right subjects and had enough background in finance to pass. I can't recommend the official study guide enough for that test as well as learning how to use a financial calculator for at least the basic TVM stuff. To be honest, business is all just common sense so if you apply your analytical skills you should be able to pass most of the tests with IC and other cheap/free resources. (To be updated further when I have time)

Passed Organizational Behavior with a 70 using only IC; studied for approx. 6 or 8 hours. IC is definitely sufficient alone.

Passed General Anthropology 60+, only IC; studied for approx. 10-12 hours. I have previously passed CLEP Nat. Sci. and CLEP Intro. Soc., both helpful for GA.

Will be taking Information Systems and Computer Applications test on Friday next week. Anybody out there used IC for this test and passed? I just found the site today and I am worried it's not enough time. I have already began and I am on hour 5 studying. Any advice? Thanks!
