Just to confirm, Intermediate Algebra is the lowest level ALEKS course that'll work for credit?
I barely remember any algebra, is it going to be an issue that I skip Beginning Algebra?

Yes, intermediate algebra is the lowest you can go for general education credit, but precalculus is the lowest you can go to fulfill the math requirement for business degrees. TESC transcribes ALEKS Trigonometry as precalculus. Try doing the initial test for ALEKS Intermediate Algebra and, if you do very poorly, start with Beginning Algebra and work your way up. Khan Academy and Annenberg videos can help get you up to speed.

I see that you took the College Comp CLEP. Was that with or without the essay? I think in order for you to get credit for it you had to have taken the one with the essay. That's what I was seeing on the CLEP website for TESC & what they will accept. That would be a bummer if you took the wrong one

So I have the 6 AP English credits for literature. I can apply all 6 to humanities? Someone had suggested I should split them between humanities and gen ed, but I think I might put off Business Communication and just do something less time consuming like US History II for another 3 gen ed credits. Thoughts?

The system will split them because it is somewhat likely that both A&I Lit and AP English Lit will both be LIT courses. You must take two different subject areas to meet the requirements for the 12 credits of humanities. If they accept the AP credits some other way then you could put them all in humanities and simply find another general ed elective as you said. If you are enrolled you are to the point you should meet with an adviser (on the phone) and plan in the rest of your credits if you haven't already.
Other notes:
-Your CLEP US History I exam will move to social sciences by default (unless soc sci fills up)
-You are missing another course in the Nat/Sci math area, I would consider another ALEKS course (like Algebra which can be used in combination with Intermediate Algebra) or maybe take Management Information Systems DSST (CIS-301). The catalog doesn't put CIS-301 in Nat Sci/Math but my eval does for my degree (ask an adviser).
-For your last general ed requirement (opened by moving AP Lit up if possible) you can take yet another ALEKS course, or of course another CLEP or DSST exam. As you said, why spend time on Straighterline if you don't have to.
Good Luck.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Courses like Principles of Marketing aren't General Education Electives, right?

Anyone have a suggestion for a quick and easy test given my requirements? I have been super, super busy lately and am a little behind on my goal. I would like to keep the credits coming but am unsure on what to take next. I have macroeconomics scheduled for Oct, but that seems to be a tough one that I'm going to start studying for soon. But in the meantime, looking for something quick and easy. I might do US History 2 as I found US History 1 easy enough, but would appreciate other suggestions.
Also, do I need to re-apply at TESC to keep them holding my credits? It's been more than 6 months since I first applied.
