The only class I have left for a BSBA Accounting from TESC is Precalculus. I have been working on the ALEKS Precalculus course for about a week now. I am getting close to 70%, but I have not touched the Trigonometry section of the pie yet. (Nor did I plan to.) I just noticed on the Degree Wiki forum that TESC accepts ALEKS trigonometry as precalculus for the business requirement. Did I take the wrong course? Does anyone know if TESC will accept Precalculus for the Precalculus requirement? If so, will they know that I did not complete the Trigonometry section, or will the transcript from ACE just say that I was assessing at 70% overall for Precalculus? I was hoping to finish this course today.

What you are doing should work. You are just taking a harder class on ALEKS than you had to. Your ACE transcript will just show to TESC that you completed the certain class, not which parts of the pie you completed. Also understand that you have to get 70% on an assessment. The percentage completed of the pie, which does correlate to how much you know, is different from what you get on a particular assessment. All you have to do is get a 70% on an assessment and you are good to go. Good luck!

Thank you!! I've never completed an ALEKS course before, so I didn't know if the actual results would be reported on the ACE transcript or just the fact that I assessed at 70%.
