Whatever you are studying, make a plan, a small checklist, and start working the plan. If your plan is to read for 20 minutes, change it to 2 hours.

Ryoder,
Why don't I just send you 2 or 3 of my 6 books I have so you can read them, then just tell me what they are about or send a summary book report on them so I don't have to do it. That would help me out a ton hilarious
Funny thing is that I can't make checklists or plans to save my life because I can't follow them no matter how hard I try. In the end, the job gets done though.

I am probably the most disorganized person you ever met. I do not have checklists or anything. The one thing I am good at is obsessing over one task. If you gave me a shovel and asked me to dig a hole to China I would probably come back in 3 days with a broken shovel and be 1/3 there. Well as long as there was something really good in China, but you get the point.
So this is why at your own pace works for me. My pace is 100%. I focus so well on one task that I often neglect others. This is why I am now paying the price in increased bodyfat but I think that will take care of itself now that I don't sit on the computer for 9 hours at a time studying or writing papers.

Thanks ryoder!!
Your always a big motivator on here!
TESC shows I only have to complete 51 credits to get my BSAST in Elec Eng Tech.
But I have been in Aleks hell with Col alg and only able to study a few hours a week.

I would do more but I had to take over someone else's project, which is the biggest one of my life and its sucking the soul out me 14 hours a day, but its over on Dec 13th!!

Then I intend to get on with it as many hours a day as I can get away with.

Thanks for the continued encouragement.

PS.. I will be in tampa in a few weeks, might be nice to buy you a beer or coffee..

Don't worry, you'll get out of ALEKS jail soon enough. I did about an hour ago!!! Big Grin College Algebra, Trig, and Stats -- took four months working at it but all math is done. Before you know it ALEKS will be in your rear-view mirror.

After I finished ALEKS I realized I had miscalculated and shorted myself 3 credits. I'm now at 76 credits done! Off to study for CLEPs again!
