Does anybody care to take a look at my plan and tell me how it looks and if I have everything in the proper category. Blue means I haven't completed it yet so any suggestions for an easier route are appreciated. I think my head is spinning a bit from all the forum searching and googling I've been doing. :ack:
I. General Education Requirements
A. English Composition (6)
ENGL101 ENC1101 COMPOSITION (3)
ENGL102 ENC1102 COMP&INTRO LITERATURE (3)
B. Humanities (12)
ART161 ARH1000 ART APPRECIATION (3)
HUM1020 HUM1020 HUMANITIES INTRO (3)
CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature (6)

C. Social Sciences (12)
PS101 POT1002 INTRO AMERPOLITICS (3)
CLEP INTRO SOCIOLOGY (3)
HIST105 GEW/SOCI DISCOVERING AMER (3)
HIST110 GEW/SOCI DISCOVERING WORLD (3)
D. Natural Science and Mathematics (12)
MATH133 MAC1105 COLLEGE ALGEBRA (3)
DSST Intro to Computing (3)
BSC1005 BSC1005 GENERAL BIOLOGY (4)
BSC1085C BSC1085C ANAT. & PHYS. I (4)
** Since I have 2 extra credit hours here do they push to the general ed electives, free electives, or are they lost in the air?
E. General Education Electives (18)
MGF1106 MGF1106 MATH FOR LIBERAL (3)
ISC1003 ISC1003 NATURAL DISASTERS (4)
REL101 NGE/AA BIBLE:TEXT&CONTENT (3)
Leaving 8 credits left, maybe 6 if those two sciences ones go here? If those extra credits don't go here then I guess I'll throw a straighterline class in here. If they count like I'm hoping I was thinking:
Precal ALEKS (3)
Intermediate Algebra ALEKS (3)
II. Area of Study: Psychology
A. Required Courses
PSYC110 GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY (3)
Statistics ALEKS
Experimental Psychology (online through tesc)
B. Psychology Electives* (24)
I was thinking here I might try...
CLEP Fundamentals of Counseling (3)
CLEP Intro to Educational Psychology (3)
CLEP Human Growth & Development (3)
DSST Substance Abuse (3)
TECEP Psychology of Women (3)
Then take the remaining 9 credits online at TESC, along with the experimental psych class bringing me up to 12 credit hours. So that'd be 4 classes to actually take and get a gpa with.
III. Free Electives (27)
MCB2010C MCB2010C MICRO AL HEALTH (4)
DEP2100 DEP2100 CHD GR & DEV I (3)
FS111 NGE/ALL FRESHMAN SEMINAR (3)
DSST Here’s to your health (3)
Which leaves me with 14 hours left. I was thinking about doing FEMA for these? I did one tonight so technically I'm down to 13 left.
& a few questions:
When do I actually apply to TESC? I'm actually enrolled at a CC locally and finishing up my AA at the end of the summer. Do I test out of all the things I'm hoping to first then apply? Do military spouses get the military rate at TESC or no because that would be great. :p
