I have often felt as you mentioned, but at some time I say a prayer and hit the button to grade. I have come to the conclusion that I may not always know the information to the degree I would like to but something must be going on subconsciously.

Then there is always plain ol' luck.
So glad that you have put this one behind you and got such a great score to boot.

I'm bumping this because I am stuck again.
I have been studying for American Government CLEP on and off since January. I need to get past this to get to my MAT. I am not sure if I am afraid of this test or just out of practice.
I have heard this exam is one of the hardest and that scares me, It is going on a year since I finished my BA and I have been lazy. LOL I think I might be ready I just can't decide for sure and I don't know when or where (Monday I am working in lab, Tuesday hope to teach Wednesday Dr. Appt.banghead, close by $40 further away $15 what about gas cost and time):willynilly: to schedule this exam. Are thse just stalling techniques?
Please someone give me that kick.
Linda

Linda, schedule your exam and that deadline will give you the motivation you need. Whenever I got stuck that is what I did. I did sometimes have to change my date and give myself a little more time, but usually it was only a week and I knew I had a valid reason at that point. Allow yourself only one reschedule so you know you at the end of your time limit. I used the We the People book to study, along with the specific exam feedback and Sparknotes, which really helped a lot. It was one of my lower scoring exams, but I hate history / government in general so that caused my issues. Mind you have I have many issues, but this was the cause of my American Govt. issue! LOL! :roflol:

Linda,
I did the exact same with business law, mainly because it bored me to tears. I kept putting off the test over and over. Once I finally decided on a date (good one Marianne), I began to really study. Went over the info for a week or so and I took the darn test. You know what, it was not half as bad as I imagined it would be. Unfortunately, I'm repeating the same bad behavior with my next and final exam, business policy.
Put the date on your calendar "in pen", study, go take the darn thing and call it a day!!!cheersmate

Me too! Intro to Psych will be my next and final exam and I have no patience starting to study
My testing center lets me schedule an exam the day of the test...not before- so I put the date on the IC calendar to remind me...
