History 1 Clep Exam - pcyr - 03-24-2010

Hello everyone,

I've got my American History 1 CLEP later today, and I had the simple question of whether or not any of you needed just the flash cards (besides personal knowledge) to pass said exam. Thanks.

Paul

Your post is kind of a loaded question per se.

If as you say you have "personal knowledge" it should be a great deal of knowledge. Yes, the flashcards are an incredible learning / study tool, but many students also rely on several other sources of material.

I see this is your first post so this may indeed be your first exam (just guessing) so let me ask....How long have you studied for this exam and what have you studied?

Good Luck!

I took the History 1 CLEP a couple weeks ago. While I found InstaCert to be the most helpful in my memorization of facts, I relied on the REA History 1 CLEP book and wikipedia to get a total understanding behind the events and people of the periods. I think it's important to understand the background information as well as the facts to do well on a CLEP test.
