Master of Education at American Public University - WeAintGotNoBadges - 03-01-2010 Hi. Newbie here... Are any of you in a position to provide feedback on earning a Master of Ed at APU/MPU? I'm interested in the TESOL option. Any info on their transfer credits policies for Masters programs? Please note that I'm not looking for licensure or certification. Thanks in advance for the help, W. Master of Education at American Public University - Calico - 03-02-2010 I would stay away from AMU/APU. Just my opinion. So far, except for lack of major name recognition, I've heard nothing but good things about the APUS from its students, its graduates, and people in hiring positions. It is also both RA & NA accredited which would allow someone with an NA degree to get an RA graduate degree without jumping through large amount of hoops. Well, you would have to be more specific  So far the only negative feedback I have found is from someone reporting the school not been accredited but that was an older post. I checked it out and the accreditations are not a problem anymore. I found some feedback on other sites, but not on the specific program that interests me (MEd in TESOL). |
