Stats for EC - Tasman - 02-24-2010 Which ALEKS Stats does EC require for BS Gen Business? Is it ALEKS Intro to Stats, or ALEKS Business Stats. I am also doing the Lib Arts degree and wonder if I can use the stats (either Intro or Bus) towards both of the degrees Sorry for the non-understanding confusion... I am finishing my liberal arts degree and looking at MBA schools. I am going to end up doing so many prerequisite MBA classes, I may as well have gotten a second bachelor's. I don't know for sure, but I believe you can do either one. If I were you I would do Business Stats... a lot of grad schools, if you ever decide to go further, will require that class. Stats for EC - Tasman - 02-25-2010 Here is my idea... All aleks Beg Algebra, Int Algebra, College Algebra 9 maths credits for BS Lib degree All aleks Trigonometry, Statistics. (Unsure if they require Intro to Stats or Business Stats) 6 maths credits for BS General Business I just want to make use of my $20/month aleks time. I have 3 weeks left Please tell me what do you think? For example, I took Int Alg, Trig, Intro Stats, Behavioral Stats (Which duped intro, and I knew this beforehand) and The College Math CLEP. On my eval, they accepted College Math CLEP, Trig, and Behavioral Stats, and noted that the Intro Alg didn't count due to having reached the 3 courses max. But you do have to be direct and upfront and force them to listen to you if you're coming in with 4-5-6 math classes as far as what you want to use where and for which degree. **Edit** Also, if you do Intro Stats, and retain the material well enough, you can do the Business stats assessment and nail 70% out of the gate, and be done with it... Or at least score high enough to where you can put in an hour or two getting yourself to fulfill the course. |
