I'm filling out my registration for LSAC's credential assembly service. Apparently I have to. Anyway, they want to know what other institutions I attended. All I can think of as possibilities are Fort Hays because I routed my SL credits through them, CSU Pueblo because I took Ops Mgmt through them, and Penn Foster for when I took Info Lit.

I'm almost certain that CSU Pueblo should go on there, but do I really have to list Penn Foster because of that one lousy credit? Is there any disadvantage to listing all these places? I know this isn't the usual CLEP type question, but if anyone has any insight here I would love for you to share. Smile

Edit: Just to clarify, this is part of all the information that will be compiled and sent to the law schools I will apply to.

Whatever is on your transcript, you have to list and supply a transcript. Good luck!

About the Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS)
Requesting Transcripts

Based on the information I read on the above links, you need to list any course that you have on a transcript and you also will need to have transcripts sent.

welcome to my world. Yes- list them all. They will all be in the clearinghouse directory anyway- so if you omit them you may look deceptive.

That's what I figured. Thanks for the help, all. I guess I'm off to give more money to LSAC. :puke:

How much more? Confusedmilelol:

I guess I haven't gotten to that part yet since my LSAT is Saturday. Once I'm done do I get them all of that information so they can compile a packet?

I'm not sure how much it costs...hopefully not more than the LSAT test fee. They say you should be signed up and have your transcripts and letters of recommendation two weeks before you apply to the school, I believe. Then yes, they compile and organize all your info to send it to the school.

Good luck on your LSAT! Wish I was taking it on Saturday too! cheersmate

If your degree is from one school say TESC and all your other course information is on that transcript then why do you need to get transcripts from all the other schools?

I will probably not be applying to any further schools I am just wondering, say I decided to go for my Masters at Excelsior would I have to have my transcripts from all the CC's I have attended plus CLEP's and DSST's and my TESC transcript or would just the TESC transcript which list all the others be enough?

Linda, EVERY grad school I applied to (5) has required each and every transcript. I'm really regretting that 2 credit class at University of Iowa 20 years ago- that sucker has cost me a couple hundred bucks in transcript fees by now!!

I don't think the vomit emoticon can express how I feel about that. It's going to cost me a lot of money for all the schools I have credits hanging around in. Plus some of my lower scores (from my immature days) will be on those as well. Ah well....:ack:
