Firefox problems with this forum? - Scholar Interrupted - 01-19-2010

Does anyone besides me have trouble posting here using Firefox (version 3.5.7)? I'm not sure if it was Mozilla's most recent update or the one before it, but lately, I have this issue where I can type a message just fine, but the only way I can edit what I typed is by backspacing. I can't move the cursor around, I can't copy and paste, I can't use the delete key. And tonight, Firefox actually crashed on me as I was writing a post!

So here I sit, dejectedly posting a message using IE. Oh, the humanity!

I'm using several extensions, so it could be one of those. But I am not giving up Adblock! Big Grin

Using IE is worse punishment than anyone deserves. I use Firefox 3.5.7 and have no problems posting on IC (as everyone can probably tell). I also use Adblocker and Adblock Plus without any issue (long live ad block programs! :patriot: ). Do you have Javascript enabled? I don't know if that could cause your problem or not, but it's all that comes to mind...

Hope the problem gets ironed out,
R.

This is my first post ever on this forum. I'm using Firefox 3.5.7. -On a Macintosh (no ad blocks, of course). No problemo! I agree -No one deserves to use IE Sad Sorry!

My netbook runs linux operating system. I still use IE on my other computers, and i still use windows XP on them. I have never had a problem posting using either one.

Of course I don't post as much as Rudigore, and I have been a member for a year longer. Rudigore must type a lot faster

I do have Java enabled, so that was a good guess, but no cigar. Wink I guess I'll have to either use IE for IC or just never correct a typo here. Or I could just not make typos here. Hmmm.

Oh, well. Things could be worse! Rolleyes

3.6 is out, you could test that. Also load FF in safemode with all plugins disabled and see if the issue persists.
