American Lit and Humanities CLEP Credit - DSH2007 - 12-31-2009 Our local community college will only grant 3 credits each for the American Literature and Humanities CLEP exams. I'll be using about 18 credits in CLEP exams towards my AS. I am planning on completing the AS at my local CC, then enrolling at TESC for a BSBA (when ready). When TESC receives my transcripts, will I be granted the additional 3 credits for those exams? It seems that would only be fair. I am new to the CLEP exams... thanks for your help! American Lit and Humanities CLEP Credit - dark_dan - 12-31-2009 I'm not an expert, but I don't see why they wouldn't award all six credits once they get your CLEP transcript. Just be sure to point it out to them. American Lit and Humanities CLEP Credit - jollygreenbtr - 01-03-2010 I would think they would give you those credits at TESC....Just make sure you send them your CLEP transcript and you should be good. American Lit and Humanities CLEP Credit - P00057870 - 01-03-2010 I'm not sure about TESC, you will need someone from there to tell you, but when I went to EC I had to get transcripts from the local community college as well as from CLEP and DSST. They assessed them on their own merit. In fact, EC did not recognize the CLEP Eng Comp with Essay at all for the AS (recent changes). The community college only recognized 3 of those credits anyway. But they did recognize other things. Hopefully someone with experience with TESC and this issue will answer your question more directly, but figured this would at the very least keep the thread going until they see it. |
